Q: How long until I receive my order?

A: We have a few items in stock ready for immediate dispatch but most of our products are hand made to order. At the moment we're taking around 1 to 2 weeks to make depending on your order. If it's just an accessory (ie: pair of booties or bonnet) then it only takes 2 to 3 days. Please let us know if you need it sooner than this and we’ll do our best to help.

Q: Will adding personalisation delay my order?

A: No - we personalise in house so it doesn’t add on any extra time to the delivery.

Q: There’s a space for a discount code – do you do discounts?

A: No. We try and keep our prices as low as we can to stay competitive so don’t offer any discounts

Q: Do you sell wholesale?

A: No but thank you for your interest. We’re a very small company and unable to supply wholesale at this time. If you want to email your details to pamela@adorebaby.com we’ll contact you if this changes in the future.

Q: Do you have a shop?

A: No, we’re online only so don’t have a physical shop.

Q: I live nearby - can I come and view your range at your premises?

A: Unfortunately not - we only have a small studio which isn’t suitable for us to accept visitors but please do let us know if you would like swatches of the fabrics and laces.

Q: What if I don’t like it – can I return it?

A: Most people say our outfits are nicer in real life but if you’re unhappy with any of your items in any way it’s no problem to return to us for a refund (unless personalised) You can find details here: https://www.adorebaby.com/content/returns/

Q: Do you sell internationally?

A: Yes! We sell all over the world

Q: I have seen your outfits much cheaper on other sites - why is this?

A: Although it looks like they’re selling our items, they’re not. The photos of our garments have been used without our permission. We’ve heard from several people who have bought from these sites that the product they receive is nothing like the real thing. Often they offer prices so low we couldn’t even buy the fabric for the same price. Which will give you an idea of the quality of fabrics they use. Unfortunately what you see on these sites is not what you get (if you receive anything at all) you’ll receive an inferior copy made with cheap fabrics and laces which bears no resemblance to the items that we make.

The only way to receive an authentic Adore Baby design is to order through our Adore Baby website, notonthehighstreet.com or our official Etsy store.

Q: What’s the most popular colour – ivory or silk white?

A: Ivory is our most popular colour as it seems to suit most baby skin tones.

Q: Why do you call the white 'silk white'

A: Unlike man-made fabrics and cottons, silk can never be a pure bright white as it cannot be bleached. If you're unsure about the colours, just request free fabric swatches.

Q: How do I get swatches of the fabrics?

A: Just email us at pamela@adorebaby.com with your name, address and the items you’re interested in and we’ll pop swatches in the post as soon as we can.

Q: Sizing - Do your sizes run big or small?

A: We’ve spent a lot of time over the years trying to perfect our patterns. Our sizing is as average as we can get it! However, we’d always suggest going by baby’s measurements rather than age.

Q: My baby is 7 months with a chest measurement of 44.5cm. If I go by her measurements, I would be ordering 3-6m - a size smaller than her actual age. Is this right?

A: Yes. We would suggest to go by baby’s actual measurements than by age or weight since babies can vary in size. A short but chunky baby at 4 months might need a 6-9m gown since their chest would measure larger. The height isn't important for longer gowns that go past baby’s feet. Q: My baby has chubby arms and legs. Will sleeves and leg cuffs be large enough?

A: Yes, of the thousands of babies we’ve dressed over the years, we have yet to hear that our sleeves and legs are not roomy enough.

Q: How can my baby model for your site?

A: All of our photos are taken by our photographer at our location. We are usually looking for babies between the ages of 3 and 12 months to model our outfits. If you live in or around the Glasgow area and are interested in having your little one model our outfits, you can send us an email with ‘baby model enquiry’ in the subject line to pamela@adorebaby.com for more information.
