Ava Silk and Lace Christening Gown

Made from 100% silk dupion, the Ava Christening gown is a showstopper with this beautiful, embroidered lace, overlaid on tulle, ruffled lace cap sleeves and satin ribbon waistband. The gown is finished with silk covered handmade buttons and silk loop fastenings. The back skirt is left open for easier handling of baby, and to allow the skirt to drape beautifully when being carried.

Personalisation

Make her Ava Christening gown even more special by adding personalised embroidery with her name or initials and date of Christening (or date of birth if you prefer)

We embroider these details using a matching natural coloured thread on the bottom of the hem, at the centre back so is very discreet but a lovely reminder of your baby's special date. If you would prefer the embroidery on the inside of the gown, just let us know and we can add it to the lining.

Sizes

Newborn (up to 41cm chest), 0-3 months (up to 43cm chest), 3-6 months (up to 46cm chest), 6-9 months (up to 49cm chest), 9-12 months (up to 52cm chest) and 12-18 months (up to 55cm chest) and measures approximately 90cm in length from shoulder to hem.

Your Ava Christening gown is made from 100% dupion silk with a beautiful lace overlay, fully lined with a soft anti static polyester lining. Glass pearl beads are individually sewn on to the little rayon applique.

As a natural fibre there will be certain irregularities or variations in shade or weave which are characteristics of the silk.

We recommend dry clean only for all our Christening gowns and dresses.
